Every day, for the past 20 years, brothers Sam and Gian Giumarello have taken great pride in operating their family restaurant. Chef Sam can be found in the kitchen creating new dishes & preparing favorites, while Gian tends to the ever expansive martini menu and wine list by researching, creating and bringing in some of the most sought after drinks.
Giumarello's Restaurant started in 1988. Those were very modest beginnings, starting in the original location on Station Avenue in Haddon Heights. The dining room was limited to a small number of guests and was split between two floors. Several years later, we were finally able to realize our dream of accommodating more diners.
We found a lovely location in Haddon Township and acquired a liquor license to operate a separate bar area. Finally, we could offer guests more than ample parking, and complimentary Valet service too!
Shortly after, the word spread. Crowds of guests filled our location our bar area was crowded with many patrons. We soon realized that an addition was needed. In 2008, we were able to expand our bar area and gave it a new identity; GBar Lounge was born!
Today, Giumarello's and GBar has been able to host private parties, as well as hundreds of diners, all at the same time. And nothing makes us happier than being able to accommodate ALL of our friends & family!
